#CATCH ME + SMTOWN

First
of all it’s 2 days after the SMTOWN concert, it was kinda a hectic day I
haven’t really regain consciousness. I haven’t unpack things and merchandises I
bought at the venue, like I just left it at the corner. BUT I’M –actually– LOOKING
FORWARD TO TRY EVERYTHING I BOUGHT. Oh maybe I’m gonna share a bit of SMTOWN
concert?

I
arrived around 2 in the afternoon and of course, it was crowded already. Oh I went
to SMTOWN with my aunt! we ate lunch outside the venue, we weren’t allowed to
bring food. There were some food stalls inside BUT IT WAS HELLA PRICY I prefer
starving, seriously.
We went
inside and began queueing from 3 to 6.30 it was as hot as hell BUT THANK GOD IT
DIDN’T RAIN! Inside the stadium, we waited another hour, I guess, until f(x)
started with Hot Summer.
Long
story short I cried the whole TVXQ performances and that’s all you guys should
know, lol. THEY WERE THE LAST OF THE LAST I SWEAR I AM ANNOYED. My babes
started their performance with The Way U Are and Rising Sun was the last. I’m
not gonna post anything related to SMTOWN because we were not allowed to take
pictures and videos, still there are a lot of people who did it but I tried to stick
to the regulations?

the real reason why I post today–
AND 2
DAYS AFTER THAT, WHICH IS TODAY, MY BABES RELEASE A NEW ALBUM UGH If only the
tour is held next week, I can see them perform …. So sad TT_TT. They released
the M/V today like an hour ago and I’m still spazzing about it but calming down
a little bit to start writing, okay.
Finally,
they release something Korean after Keep Your Head Down and I’m so happy it is
a full album. The cover is badass~ they are so manly. Especially my baby
Changmin, he doesn’t look like a magnae anymore. THEY SLAY THE TUXEDO. Dang it,
they look like as if they are the CEO of something, lol.
For the
title song ‘Catch Me’ itself, it actually had to be play a few times before I really
fell in love with it. But, I will always like their song anyway. I'm very satisfied
with the back track incorporation of the piano and violin riffs especially on
the opening like, it actually shocked me when they drop the beat to an exotic
dub-step influence. I mean like, it was instrumental for a second and it was a
dubstep a second after. Personally this is truly a song that should be in an action
film soundtrack like Before U Go M/V, hehe.

Well
SM Entertainment is not a company that spends like crazy over the top
movie-music videos. So this is what they got my babes: few crazy sets and dance
in them. I'm confused as to what the album concept is? I
mean, seeing from the music video? why are they dancing like robots and saying ‘catch
me, catch me,’ lol.
SM make them wear robotic alien costumes and sets THAT I DON’T UNDERSTAND.
But, they sure look amazing in those alien costume and I’m loving it anyway.
Believe it or not, the video itself has signs of scientific backgrounds. screencap above [as evidence] is the first 2 seconds into the M/V. IT IS ALREADY WEIRD. the following seconds are nerve cells [and maybe brain cells whatever] and i don't understand what does it have to do with catch me, catch me pt. 2 😂
I Think, this is my favourite scene out of the whole Music Video, where they dance in water. I hope they got wet as well [what?] and the outfit are normal too, lol. Water splashing everywhere doesn't bother my babes~ please congratulate me for screencapping the best frame. it's hard to get a good water splash scene, ok.

After listening to the whole album [online, because we
are living here in Indonesia baby, I can’t have the album right after it was
released.] I PERSONALLY like Getaway and for the ballad one I like I Swear. Vocally, I'm not disappointed at all. I MEAN, WE DON’T
HAVE TO COMMENT ON THEIR VOCAL ABILITY, geez. Changmin hit the long high notes
as always. Yunho rap as god as ever. The whole album is my favourites LIKE
ALWAYS, but I mentioned the track that I love the most at the moment. As a k-pop lover we know that lists changes
periodically, lol.
